About
Bitte "Badger" Ahrland Bocz has worked with gardens and garden compositions since she was a young girl. Financing this interest she worked as a guide, travel agent, translator, proof reader and in the restaurant business. She also worked ten years for an international company that made amusement park designs all over the world.
Bitte is responsible for the gardens at Badger's Creek, administration, soft landscaping, garden consultancy and sales.
The company was established in 2005 in Värmland, Sweden. After only half a year it was moved down to its current location at Illstorp, a small village in Österlen, in eastern Scania, Sweden. A show garden was built including such as a rose-garden, a wild-garden, an orchard, a 12m x 10m natural pond and a cottage garden. After the construction of the victorian style vegetable garden and a 50m2 natural -swimming- pond in 2012, a subtropical orangery/pool room were created. Latest projects include a Japanese garden and Lord of the Rings e.g. "hobbit" inspired constructions.
The partner range of Ängelkottskompaniet has increased steadily during the first couple of years, but as the company follows a sustainabilty based, qualitiative approach in development instead of increasing in size, only such projects are taken on that are found challenging or interesting.
György Ängelkott "Kotten" Bocz is an architect (LTH, Lund, Sweden) with background and education in both agriculture (PATE ÁTK, Hungary) and management sciences (Oxford Brooks University, UK) a Phd in building related agricultural technology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, at Alnarp. In Ängelkottskompaniet, Ängelkott is responsible for offers, on site activities related to architecture, hard landscaping, building and maintenance together with connected consultancy.

Ängelkottskompaniet was started in 2005 by György Ängelkott Bocz and his wife Bitte "Badger" Ahrland.
Ängelkottskompaniet could most easily be described as a Renaissance company. Contrary to the popular belief that one has to narrow down and focus only on one small area to be successful, Ängelkottskompaniets founders, having multicoloured backgrounds, successfully combine several areas to carry out the following activities:
- Architecture and landscaping/garden design
- Tourism & sales of own products
- Business consultancy/Management support
